Recently, I had the privilege of delivering my first Member Statement in the House, where I was able to recognize Barbara Collins, CEO of Humber River Health, for her outstanding leadership and achievements in the healthcare sector.

Under her vision, Humber River Health has emerged as a leader in modern healthcare, pioneering initiatives such as zero hallway medicine and robotic surgery. These innovations have earned the hospital international acclaim, winning the title of Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals for the past two years.

Barbara is a true testament to the impact of dedication, care and innovation in public health, and I’m excited to see how Humber River Health continues to set new standards in patient care and innovation.
